This bracelet has a nice combination of African beads. The dot bead is from the Zhosa tribe and is made from powdered glass. It makes a nice conversation piece. These beads are made by compressing recycled glass into almost a powder and the melting them in a porcelain cast. The stem of the Cassava leaf is used to create the center. Natural dyes from plants and flowers are used to create the colors and patterns.
