The aqua bead on this bracelet is made from glass that washes up along the shores of West Africa. It is beaded on memory wire so it fits comfortable. Recycled glass beads are made by members of the Krobo tribe. These beads are made by compressing recycled glass into almost a powder and the melting them in a porcelain cast. The stem of the Cassava leaf is used to create the center. Natural dyes from plants and flowers are used to create the colors and patterns.
